Our Story
We started Faithful Photography over 15 years ago in the Camden & Campbelltown Area. We wanted to share with others the experience of freezing time to capture precious moments of your newborn and family. The bond of a family is unlike any other, and we are passionate about illustrating that bond in the images we capture for your family.
Dalia has been a nurse for over 15 years and is a mother of 4 boys. With her wealth of experience with babies & children, she’s been labelled by many as “the baby whisperer”. With her patient and gentle touch, she magically settles and captures newborns in poses that melt the heart. Dalia is also an accredited professional Makeup Artist (Makeup By Dalia) and gives our customers an opportunity to look & feel their best.
Marten has a wealth of technical experience, ensuring moments are captured with precise composition, lighting and then edited to perfection.
With a huge studio now in Mount Annan, we strive to provide an unforgettable experience for each family from the moment they walk through the door to the moment they enjoy their images up on their wall.

Newborn
Newborn Photography is a fairly new art form (within the past 5 years or so) in the photography world. In the past, parents would most often choose to have their baby’s first portrait session take place around 2-3 months of age. Now, newborn photographers, like myself, photograph newborns and their first; special moments at just 2 weeks of age.
Although having a newborn photography Sydney session done just days after birth is a fairly new concept for many people, I strongly believe it isn’t just a fad. Fads are things that come and go because people get tired of them and move on to something else. The concept of newborn baby photography is similar to the concept o maternity photography. Your newborn baby will only be this tiny once in their life, and only for a matter of days. You have one chance to capture that moment before it passes you by.

Session Fee: $150
- Session fee includes a newborn, sibling & family photos.
- A studio session includes the availability to various set-ups and access to our large selection of props.
- Includes two newborn photographer’s time, talent and a post session ordering appointment to view your images and select a collection.
- Session fees are paid at the time of booking as a deposit.
- We limit the amount of sessions to ensure the highest quality of product and service to you so it is recommended that you book your session as soon as you have decided to go ahead to avoid disappointment.

Makeup & Hair Services
As an additional service, we now offer a full hair styling and makeup service that you can book immediately prior to your photo session. “Makeup by Dalia” has helped countless people look and feel their very best over the years, and now you can access her expert service with or without a photography session.
Dalia only uses high-end makeup products, all of which are included in her service. So, if you want to look and feel your best before a photo shoot, allow 30-45 minutes and Dalia will work her magic for you!

FAQS
The perfect window for capturing those beautiful newborn shots is within the first two weeks after birth. This is usually booked a few months prior but we understand that babies often arrive on their own schedule, so we’re flexible about adjusting the date closer to the time. Please keep us informed about any updates from your doctor.
The perfect window for capturing those beautiful maternity shots is between 32 and 36 weeks into the pregnancy. During this period, the bump is showing well and mum is still comfortable in our studio. This is usually booked a few months prior but we also accept last minute bookings.
Please allow up to 90 minutes for your newborn session, although the exact length can vary depending on the baby’s mood and needs.
Our newborn sessions are held at our cozy studio in Glen Alpine, providing a comfortable and controlled environment for your little one.
Please bring along any essential baby items such as a dummy, extra food, and a face washer for dribbles. Feel free to also bring any sentimental items like hospital wrist bands, a favourite blanket, or a special stuffed animal you’d like to include in the photos
We provide all outfits for your newborn to ensure a perfect fit and aesthetic. For the rest of the family, we recommend simple outfits in solid colours – black, white, or soft pastels work well. This helps to keep the focus on your faces rather than your outfits.
To ensure a smooth shoot, feed and let your baby sleep just prior to the session. Please use mittens in the days leading up to the shoot to prevent any accidental scratches.
Absolutely! We love to capture the whole family’s joy and include shots with siblings, individual parent photos, and full family photos in our sessions. Others outside of the immediate family are welcome to attend and can be included in the photos for a small fee.
Once all the photos are taken, we invite you back to the studio within two weeks to view your final edited images.
Yes, you can! During your follow-up visit to view the final images, you’ll have the opportunity to choose from our range of collections, which include options for prints and albums.
Of course! Let us know beforehand if you’d like to bring any special items or things with sentimental value when we discuss your preferences, so that we can include them in the session plan.
Minimum 35 edited images per session. The final number may vary due to many factors as each session is unqiue.
Booking & Session Details
Bookings: We recommend you book your session while you are still pregnant, this allows our Sydney baby photographer to have you scheduled well in advanced. We will reserve a time slot around your due date. Obviously however the actual date of the session will not be known until your baby arrives. Within 48 hours of giving birth give us a call and we will confirm a date that is suitable for you. We limit the amount of sessions per month to ensure the highest quality of service to clients. So it is never too early to book a session and of course you can get in touch at anytime if you have any queries. If you have only just discovered newborn photography shortly after giving birth then all is not lost and I will do my best to fit you in however priority always goes to existing bookings.
Session: Our baby photography sessions are done in our boutique home studio, professionally equipped with lighting and soothing equipment custom made for newborn babies. Perfect for capturing stunning baby portraits. Sydney newborn sessions are typically 1-2 hours. Please note the perfect age for a newborn shoot is when your baby is BETWEEN 5 – 12 DAYS OLD. Under 2 weeks newborns still have that magical womb like behaviour that allows their fresh miraculous newborn look to be captured undisturbed. With only a window of a few days you have only one chance to capture that moment before it passes you by. Capture the beautiful moments so your family can treasure them for years to come.
