1. Booking and payment
1.1 To secure a photography session, clients must pay a non-refundable booking fee (usually the sitting fee) at the time of booking.
1.2 The remaining balance must be paid in full before image/products are released and handed over.
1.3 Additional charges may apply for extended sessions or special requests, and these will be communicated to the client in advance.
1.4 Outstanding invoices will incur a late payment fee of $10 per week. The studio has the right to retain all products until full payment is made, including late payment fees.
1.5 Once a package is selected, it is considered final and cannot be modified or downgraded after the invoice has been issued.
2. Rescheduling and cancellations
2.1 Clients may reschedule a session with at least 7 days’ notice, subject to availability.
2.2 In the event of a cancellation by the client, the booking fee is non-refundable.
2.3 The studio reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances, such as equipment failure or inclement weather. In such cases, the studio will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the session.
3. Image delivery
3.1 The studio will provide a curated selection of edited, high-resolution digital images from the session.
3.2 Clients will view the images within 2 weeks of the photography session and have an option to purchase a package.
3.3 The studio retains the copyright to all images and reserves the right to use them for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed upon with the client.
4. Client cooperation
4.1 Clients are responsible for the behaviour of all individuals participating in the session, especially children and pets.
4.2 The studio is not responsible for individuals who do not cooperate during the session or for factors beyond its control that may impact the quality of the final images.
5. Editing and retouching
5.1 The studio will edit images to enhance overall quality but will not perform extensive retouching unless otherwise agreed upon and subject to additional charges.
5.2 Once images have been delivered, no further editing or revisions will be performed. Purchase of images constitutes approval and acceptance of the images as delivered.
6. Liability
6.1 The studio is not liable for any injuries, damages, or loss of personal property that may occur during the photography session.
6.2 Clients are responsible for their safety and the safety of individuals participating in the session.
