Most people who book a headshot tell us the same thing: they don't photograph well. What they usually mean is that nobody has ever guided them through it. A headshot is not a test you pass or fail — it's a short, relaxed session where our job is to make the camera the least interesting thing in the room.
We shoot headshots at both of our Macarthur studios and on-location across Sydney, from Macarthur offices through to the CBD. Because pricing is a $100 sitting fee plus $60 per image you actually choose, there's no pressure to commit to a package before you've seen a single frame — you shoot, you look, you keep what you like.

How much does a professional headshot cost in Sydney?
Two simple parts. A $100 sitting fee covers your pre-session consultation and the shoot. Afterwards you go through the gallery and choose only the images you want to keep — each selected image is $60, professionally retouched and delivered in high resolution. Many clients keep just one or two; others select a set for different platforms. Team and volume pricing is available on request.
How long does a headshot session take?
An individual headshot session usually takes around 30 minutes, which is enough time for several backdrops and a couple of outfit changes. Team headshot days run longer and are scheduled to suit the number of people — anything up to a half-day.
What should I wear for a headshot?

Can you help me pose naturally?

Yes — professional hair and makeup can be done in the same studio on the day of your shoot, so you get camera-ready without travelling anywhere. Makeup is $120 and hair styling is from $85 (includes straightening or GHD curls). Just let us know when you book and we'll arrange our artist for your session.
How quickly will I receive my headshot photos?
You'll see same-day digital previews, and fully retouched galleries are delivered within 5 business days. If you need them sooner, a 48-hour rush turnaround is available for an additional fee.
How often should I update my professional headshot?
