Sitting up, grabbing toes, laughing at everything — the stage between newborn and first birthday. Set up and priced just like our newborn sessions, with Dalia, a registered nurse, behind the camera.

How a sitter session flows
- 01 Book around six or nine months
Choose a six-month baby photoshoot or a nine-month session. Tell us your baby's age when you enquire and we'll suggest dates.
- 02 Studio session
Bring a few outfits for your baby; we use studio props for selected photos. Your baby sets the pace, with feed and play breaks whenever they're needed.
- 03 Gallery reveal & order
We walk you through your edited gallery in the studio and help you choose your collection, prints or albums.
Six or nine months
Same session, different poses.
Only the poses change, to suit what your baby can do on the day. You bring the outfits; we use studio props for selected photos.

What is a sitter session?
A baby milestone photoshoot in our studio at around six or nine months, once your baby can sit with support or on their own. It sits between your newborn session and a first-birthday cake smash.
Should we book at six months or nine months?
The session is the same at both ages — only the poses change, to suit what your baby can do. Six months suits supported sitting and tummy time; nine months suits a baby who is sitting confidently and on the move.
How much does a sitter session cost?
Sitter sessions are priced like our newborn sessions: a $150 session fee secures your date, and at your in-studio gallery viewing you choose a Studio Collection — Essential $550, Signature $850 or Legacy $1,350.
What should my baby wear?
You bring the outfits — a few is plenty. Simple colours, soft textures and favourite pieces photograph best. Avoid big logos and busy prints.
Do you provide props?
Yes. We use studio set-ups and props for selected photos, chosen to suit your baby's age and what they can do on the day.
Is a sitter session safe for my baby?
We take care with your baby's comfort and safety. Marten and Dalia have over 19 years of newborn photography experience, and Dalia is a registered nurse. As with our newborn sessions, your baby is never left unattended, and we allow time for feeds and settling breaks.
Can parents and siblings be in the photos?
Absolutely. Family frames are a lovely part of a sitter session — let us know who's coming when you book.
Does the newborn Legacy Collection cover a sitter session?
Buying the Legacy Collection for your newborn session makes your next session fee complimentary — family, sitter or cake smash.
Where are sitter sessions photographed?
At our studio at 28 Hartford Ave, Glen Alpine (Campbelltown), serving families across Macarthur and South-West Sydney.
