What Happens During Your Newborn Session
Step 1: Book Your Session
Contact us to lock in your date. We recommend booking during your pregnancy (around 20-30 weeks) to secure your spot. Newborn sessions are best done within the first 5-14 days after birth, when babies are sleepiest and most poseable.
Step 2: Before Your Session
A few days before your session, we’ll call to confirm timing and answer any questions. We’ll send you a preparation guide covering what to wear, how to prepare baby (a warm bath and full feed before arrival works wonders), and what to bring. Short answer: just bring yourselves and your baby — we have everything else.
Step 3: Session Day
Sessions run for up to 3 hours with no rush. Dalia will gently pose your baby through a variety of setups including wraps, baskets, props, and parent/sibling poses — all included at no extra charge. The studio is kept warm for baby’s comfort, and we allow unlimited time for feeding, settling, and nappy changes. Two photographers work your session to capture every angle.
Step 4: View Your Photos
Within 2-3 weeks, your professionally edited photos are prepared in a beautiful slideshow presentation. You’ll visit the studio (or view online) to see your images and choose your favourite package.
Step 5: Receive Your Images
Your high-resolution, print-ready images are delivered on USB, ready for printing, framing, and sharing. Packages also include professional prints, canvases, and digital collages depending on the package you choose.
