For most of our clients, the hardest part of restoring an old photograph is letting go of it. For Glen Alpine families that part is easy: the original only has to travel a few streets, and you can hand it over in person and see exactly who is looking after it.
We start by digitising the photograph carefully at high resolution, then do every repair on that digital copy. The print you bring in is never retouched or cut, and it comes back to you with the finished restoration, as a file, a professional print or a framed photograph ready to hang.
If you’re not sure a photograph is worth restoring, bring it in or send us a phone photo first. We’ll tell you honestly what can be recovered before anything is booked.

Do I get the original back?
Always. Restoration work is done on a high-resolution digital copy, and your original photograph is returned with your finished restoration.
